If my title sounds ridiculous and offensive, that’s because it is. I would never limit anything to “whites only” because I am not racist and diversity is important to me.
Some people obviously don’t feel the same way.
The 1973 graduates of St. Martinville, LA Senior High School received a letter that included the schedule for their impending class reunion. There was a nice reception planned, as well as a great homecoming game. Unfortunately, the “after party” at a graduate’s home would only be open to a select few.
It is for “white graduates only.” Not only that, but it’s also a potluck.
What a rip off!
It’s hard to believe something like this can happen in the 21st century. I know Louisiana is a southern state that once embraced segregation, but those days are over. It’s time to come back to reality, people.
And between you and me, I hope the after party sucks!

What century do we live in? That’s crazy. On the deed to my house it states that the property is not to be leased sold or conveyed to anyone other than of the Caucasian race. But that was back in the ’50s
Wow! That is truly bizarre, Time-traveler, although I suppose it makes sense given the era. I wonder what would happen if you tried to sell to someone of color now?
