Taliban say they hope to kidnap or assassinate Prince Harry | UK news | guardian.co.uk.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told Reuters today that every effort would be made to either kidnap or kill Prince Harry during his tour in Afghanistan, which began last week.
Prince Harry is a helicopter gunner and should see plenty of action.
I sincerely hope this young man is being protected because the last thing we need is another Daniel Pearl incident. Pearl was the bureau chief for The Wall Street Journal who was kidnapped in Pakistan in 2002 and subsequently beheaded by his captors.
Granted, Prince Harry should receive the same level of protection as anyone else, but additional security will undoubtedly be used since he is third in line for the British throne.

I agree completely, Dale. It seemed strange for them to release so much information, but I suppose it could be some kind of smoke screen. I also hope nothing happens to him because the ripple effects would be crazy!
