Give it some tongue… or not!
I have some URGENT health news to report, so please pay close attention!
At first, I wasn’t sure why this mattered since anyone willing to eat a cow’s tongue likely wouldn’t be fazed by the occasional tonsil. However, the tissue forming the tonsils could contain infective agents like the dreaded mad cow disease, so it’s probably best to avoid all these nasty products for the time being.
Feel free to dine on the tongues of other animals, though. They should be safe, albeit just as disgusting.
