For years, I have loved and admired the work and beauty of Michelle Rodriguez, arguably one of my favorite Hispanic actors and an all-around cool chick. She’s tough, gorgeous and—based on some interviews I’ve read—doesn’t take shit from anyone. People also claim that she has no filter and says whatever’s on her mind, which is how I’ve been described more times than I can remember.
If this sounds like a love match, that’s because it is! It’s your move, Michelle, so hit me up soon!
You can’t blame a guy for trying, can you?
Despite having absolutely no chance of pairing off with Michelle, I have enjoyed nearly every film and television show in which she appeared. Collectively, her films have grossed more than $5 billion worldwide, but my favorite performance was undoubtedly her role as Ana Lucia in the greatest television series ever: ABC’s Lost.
Ana Lucia first appeared in the finale of the show’s inaugural season—and she was killed off in season two, returning only for cameos towards the end of Lost’s momentous run—but she still made enough of an impression on me that I missed her in every other season. Ana Lucia was awesome!
Of course, Michelle has been in the spotlight not only for her on-screen performances, but also for events transpiring in her personal life: breakups with boyfriends who demanded she convert to different religions; charges of assault and drunk driving; probation violations; and, of course, questions about her sexuality… as if this was anyone’s business.
Since Michelle doesn’t have a filter, though, she didn’t hesitate a bit in addressing rumors of lesbianism, which have clouded her in mystery for years. And judging from her answer—which I love, by the way—I’m sure some people wish they had never asked about her sexual preferences at all.
“I don’t talk about what I do with my vagina, and they [the media] are all intrigued. I’ve never walked the red carpet with anyone, so they wonder: What does she do with her vagina? Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I’m a lesbo. Eh, they’re not too far off. I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too fucking curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”
So there you have it, folks: Michelle Rodriguez is bisexual, not gay—at least not completely gay, which to me sounds a little like being almost pregnant. I’m not sure if this is even possible, but hey, to each his—or in this case her—own. Whatever floats your boat, I always say.
Personally, I could give a rat’s ass if Michelle is straight, gay, nice, mean, freaky, adventurous, jaded… whatever. She’s absolutely gorgeous, as fiery as a hot pepper—no offense to our Hispanic brothers and sisters, of course—and, in a word, cool. And since she also enjoys writing and blogging, I feel even more drawn to her.
It’s not too late to give me a call, Michelle! Drop a comment and I’ll send you the digits, you sexy thing!
